In gorgeous Lan Ha Bay, the southern part of Halong Bay, Tiger Beach is waiting for your exploration! It is Tiger Beach that was the first area to be developed for sport climbing in the bay. This beach is currently used for day and overnight stays by Hanoi Backpackers Hostel, curious occupants who are willing to share the beach with climbers. The 2 walls at the beach, Slo Pony Wall and Offenheimer’s Creation, form a petit alcove of climbing utopia. Offenheimer’s Creation owns a few of the first routes put up in Vietnam.

Both of these walls have distinct and unique climbing features: conglomerate-rock, pockets, dihedrals, wombs and tufas with routes ranging from 5 to 7c+. The two water-sculpted rock formations, at the base of the Offenheimer cliff seeming to stare up at you while climbing are the two unique features of this crag. Only during low tide, can this phenomenon be fully observable.
