Situated on the bank of Huong River; Hue, the provincial city of  Thua Thien Hue is 700 km from southern Hanoi and 1100 km from northern Ho Chi Minh City. Most well-known for its historical tourist attractions; Hue had been recognized as one of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1993.

Then every two years, hundreds of thousands of people come here to attend a festival tour in order to discover the cultural characteristics with the active cooperation of the French Republic. Entry fares are150 000 dong for adults and 30, 000 dong for children 7-12 (April 2015) and it is open at 06:30 – 17:00. Tu Duc Tomb was built in a narrow valley in the village of Duong Xuan Thuong (now the Upper Village Three, Thuy Xuan Hue city) from 1864 to 1867. It is also a vast, sprawling complex building dotted around by a lake, wooden pavilions and tombs and temples dedicated to wives and favored courtesans. Located between an immense pine forest, this is one of the most wonderful construction of architecture during the Nguyen Dynasty. The building has been deteriorated much. It is about 8km from the center of Hue. Visiting fare is 100.000 VND / per head.

Minh Mang Tombs can be considered one of the largest tombs in Hue. Inside the tomb there is a lot of space for painting, poetry and philosophy. Some bridges cross two lakes in front of the vast burial mound. The Thien Mu Pagoda overlooks the romantic and peaceful Perfume River and is considered as the official symbol of Hue. The name “Thien Mu” means “elderly celestial woman”, refers to an old legend about the founding of the pagoda. Hue travelers can book ship trip to visit the temple within 2h. Pagoda is 5km far from center of Hue City center on Ha Khe hill, on the left bank of the Perfume River, in Huong Long district, straight along Kim Long road .
